As musical artists break into the mainstream, sign lucrative deals, win fancy awards, and become household names, their key collaborators—most crucially behind-the-scenes songwriters—don’t always receive the same recognition. With that in mind, we’re launching our inaugural Genius 2022 Mid-Year Songwriter List, which celebrates the work of the non-primary-artist songwriters that have had the biggest impact on this year so far as measured by Genius data and analytics. Only releases in 2022 were considered for this list. Scroll down to see the talented individuals behind your favorite songs.
